yes to the latter. I still think that while akira may arguably be better, there is no reason that Ami wouldn't have good advice on the matter. Its all I was stressing. xD

I am with you in Akiras case but I honestly can't see it in Ami...even less after we discuss her dateable events...Ami is the least who can give you advice in those thinks...she can't figure out her own feelings and needs.
despite her comments WHAT gilrs like her text in the beginning scene (school)
maybe Ami is close enough from the beginning to you to advice you, but from her character profile she isn't fit to be a tutor in THAT kind of theme
1st Akira so far has no romantic storyline...and if we make her dateable later "test dates" with her could get more romantical...
I think we discussed that developmet befor and it was accepted and supportet by most contributers of that thread

Most people can't seem to take their own advice. This is usually the case w/ tomboys, who can give excellent dating advice w/out being able to take it themselves, on average. Have you never had a tomboy friend? I grew up alongside one.

well I kind of had...but honestly that girl did know less about the world or girls than me....
so i gues it depends on the girl and her experiences with other girls....but I doubt Ami could give you good advice for a date with Tomoko....maybe with Kotomi since she knows what her dreamdate would look like
I stay with my oppinion let Akira do the "Test dating...she most likely has the most experience with such things and she is your "Tutor" in other things just aswell...if we let the Player have a friendly relationship with Akira outside the school we could combine it
like once the fighting training is done the MC asks akira what girls like since he doesn't know what to do during a date and is nervous or anything like that

THis is sorta what I was getting at. Ami is your guide to the world of the game. She explains how things work and how to get from A to B.... not stuff you can't figure out yourself, but a bit of instruction never hurt anyone. Akira on the other hand would say things like "if you're with a shy girl, press the advantage and get them to open up" not something you can do in game, but advice for the character.... just storyline stuff and use this Sexual advice plot-line as the intro to her as a datable character or romantic pursuit (not sure if dating would be best way to go with her).

great to see amis storyline is being worked on!!!! i like the ideas broght in this topic however i agree with chewey Ami and the pc have been Friends for 13 yrs (said in the ending of fan version 4) and ami has loved the pc fo that entire time excepted she didnt treal kow she did if u know what i mean so what im saying is their shouldnt be a moment where ami falls in love with the pc but when she realises she loves him
